Two years ago, TV CULT impressively demonstrated what post-punk can be today if you're brave enough to explore its boundaries and then respectfully tear them down. Now the four Cologne-based bands are back, presenting "Colony" and its mighty counterpart, "Industry." A colossal sophomore effort that takes the virtues of their debut and pushes them a few steps further toward the abyss. What remains is the powerful embrace of singer Marcos, who once again manages to illuminate TV CULT's distinctive meltdown of crooning Factory-style vocals and brutal DC hardcore shouts.
