The Truth (splatter)
After more than 30 years, the complete discography with many songs is being released on vinyl for the first time! The indie-folk-punk band not only attracted attention regionally in the early 90s by playing at studio parties and squats, they were also welcome guests at festivals and concert stages throughout Germany and, above all, were well listened to. The output of the band, which only existed for 3 years, was remarkable! Musically, the sound is somewhere between Violent Femmes, the Go-Betweens and Husker Du riffs - a unique mixture, not least because of the distinctive violin and the different backgrounds of the individual members. Included on this lovingly presented LP are the four tracks from the "water" EP (1991), the 5 songs from the "nightingales in diving dresses" MC (1992) and "strong" from the "mom, flight 13 to the moon, please" 2xEP sampler (1993). The album comes with a photo and lyric insert and was remastered by Markus Heinzel (Liquid Studio).
