Lone Ark Meets The 18th Parallel
Showcase, Vol. 2
Lone Ark and The 18th Parallel join forces for 'Showcase Vol. 2', five years after their debut album. Recorded on analog tape between Geneva and Cueto, this album pays homage to Jamaican reggae of the 70s and 80s with sophisticated arrangements. Roberto Sánchez addresses contemporary themes such as activism, religious wars, anti-capitalism, and gratitude for life. The six songs are followed by dub versions, all produced by Sánchez. In an AI-driven context, this album prioritizes human emotion and offers 100% roots and organic music.
