From a band you love, you want both: for them to surprise you while remaining true to themselves. With their third album, *Ideale*, Die Verlierer achieve exactly that. Expectations seem to matter little; soaring choruses, extended tracks, instrumental passages, and more experimental moments steer the songs in unexpected directions. Yet, they are held together by the band's unmistakable sounda defining element of their identity. Added to this is the infectious energy that has characterized Die Verlierer since their debut. For all their musical freedom, their stance remains steadfast.
