IRMLER (FAUST) and FM EINHEIT (ex EINSTNDE NEUBAUTEN) continue their genre border-crossing research of Electro-Acoustic sounds - this time with the multimedia performer UTE MARIE PAUL and the bassoon player KATIE YOUNG. Since 2009, H.J. IRMLER invites in regularity free spirits of diverse musical backgrounds to a sound research session in his studio. The third episode of the ,Spielwiese" series comes up with the multimedia performer UTE-MARIE PAUL and the American composer and bassoon player KATIE YOUNG- this time in an unusual and rejuvenated quartet constellation. As a result, the six pieces mix between the Electro- Acoustic music maybe comparable to PIERRE HENRYs dark, ambient-like sound paintings.
