Originally recorded and produced by Klaus Flouride (Dead Kennedys) and long-out-of-print, we here at Blackhouse are proud to announce the reissue of pioneering California Bay Area hardcore band Whipping Boy's seminal and once-misunderstood album, "MURU MURU". Featuring members of Oxbow, Bunuel and others, Unearthed from the original master tapes four decades later, Muru Muru has seen a full reconstruction. Re-Mixed by Grammy award winning producer Joe Chiccarelli (Melvins, Johnny Cash, Frank Zappa, Oxbow), Remastered by the legendary John Golden (Sonic Youth, Black Flag, Willie Nelson), and with new fully reimagined and constructed artwork and layout by Aaron Turner (ISIS, Sumac, Mamiffer, Hydra Head Records), Muru Muru also receives a new album title: DYSILLUSION. Limited to a one-time pressing of only 500 available world-wide, the record is pressed on a unique run where no two copies will be the same. That's right, each copy will be specifically unique as there are no specific variants broken out by quantity. All copies are completely different from each other in both colors and pattern (swirl, splatter, haze, etc.).
