German Concertos For Harp
Two classical romantic concertos for harp and orchestra. Ernst Eichner (1740-1777), highly respected, enjoyed international acclaim from his contemporaries. This concerto is graceful and charming, but rarely performed. Christian Gottlieb Kleeberg (1766-1811), little known to the public, composed this Grand Concerto for harp and orchestra around 1800, reminiscent of Beethoven's piano concerto. World premiere recording.
