Brand new 7" single by the US offbeat collective (with VICTOR RICE and JESSE WAGNER / THE AGGROLITES) on Liquidator. During the lockdown in 2020, like all other musicians without performances and the usual schedules between releases and tours, numerous musicians from the US ska and reggae scene from New York to San Diego have networked and discovered in the SMOKE+MIRRORS SOUNDSYSTEM a platform for making music together, at least in the studio and via file[1] transfer. The debut album "Strength In Numbers" was released largely on its own, now the collective presents two more offbeat pearls: with LAURLE AITKEN's "Mi Vida Sin Tu Amor" the A-side shines, "I'm A Man" (SPENCER DAVIS GROUP) complements the package perfectly. Unbelievable that this band has never played together personally and live before, the songs sound as if a well-rehearsed live line-up had brought a few onetakes to the tape.
