SANDSTONE is a four piece rock band from Derry Northern Ireland, formed in 2003 when they began writing and recording in their home studio. In 2006 Sandstone signed to Copro/Casket Records and released their debut, self recorded and produced CD: Tides of Opinion2006-2007 saw the band tour the UK and Ireland to rave reviews and 4 Ks from Kerrang: "It takes only a minute of their Guns'n'Roses-meets-Maiden bellow to knock you flat on your ass. Shaded vocalist Sean McBay shimmies across the stage amid a tornado of string-bending heroics" Kerrang! KKKK! Purging the Past is Sandstones second CD and continues with their Neo-NWBHM shred with a hint of prog and a strong emphasis on well crafted heartfelt song
