Nineteen Eighty Four is a concept album of sorts.. think a melting pot of Wendy Carlos/Kraftwerk/Human League/John Fox /Pet Shop Boys and some of coolest retro electonica you are likely to hear this year. This is Jon's Fifth studio album over 15 years on 5 labels, not including a lot of other format releases ie 12'. The 1996 album "augur" is considered by some to be a classic of the "techno" genre and online prices reflect this. This CD introduces unheard of technology...for example there is heavy use of a pc from 1980 with a 12k memory!
