Exceptional virtuoso, after a successful concert career, he lands in Berlin, where he becomes superintendent of royal music, thus meeting the most important musicians of the time, including Mozart, who composed the famous Prussian Quartets for his cello, and Beethoven, who offered his virtuosity the two Sonatas op.5.
