Georg Ringsgwandl's eighth album, Der schrfste Gang, reveals a milder but musically more mature musician and songwriter. With Florian Anselm Schmidt and drummer Manni Mildenberger, Ringsgwandl has brought two new younger musicians on board to support him alongside his long-time collaborator Nick Woodland on guitar and mandolin. Der schrste Gang includes some of his classics such as Die Welt ist kompliziert , Vroni, Saurier and Der Konsumverweigerer, on which he plays the zither, as he does on Feng Shui Liadl.
