The Modbirds combine soulful ska and rousing punk. Although they were only founded in 2023, they bring with them a wealth of stage experience with members of Los Placebos and The Porters. With their musical mix of ska, reggae and punk, the band celebrates their love of vinyl in five songs spread over two sides, reviving past childhood loves and indulging in memories of carefree times. Driven by powerful horns, catchy melodies and a danceable offbeat, the songs also address social grievances and the topic of mental health.
