M.i.a.

No Man (camouflage Green)

Las Vegas / Orange County original hardcore/punk band, M.I.A. are back with new material for the first time in 40 years! After getting back together in 2008 for a memorial show honoring singer Mike Conley's untimely death, the band carried on with original singer Todd Sampson for a couple years. Unfortunately Todd died of a heatstroke shortly after. The remaining 3 members decided to push on with guitarist Nick Adams taking over vocal duties. In 2017, Darla Records reissued the band's last 2 albums, Notes From the Underground (1985) and After the Fact (1987) on CD. Starting in 2023, Modern City started reissueing the band's entire catalog on vinyl, including the seminal 1984 Murder In a Foreign Place (in conjunction with Alternative Tentacles) and their side of the Last Rites for Genocide and M.I.A. LP from 1982. Tracks on this new release were recorded in December 2025 and include 3 brand new songs along with "'Tomic Bomb", a very old, unreleased song written in 1980 by the very first incarnation of M.I.A., known then as The Swell. This release is limited to 300 copies and comes in a handscreened cover and on colored vinyl.
