Russian surf band Messer Chups celebrate Ten Years Of Terror with an anniversary edition of their original album The Incredible Crocotiger. Including fan favorites like 'Magneto', 'Moon Race', and 'Crocotiger', the band's snappy, rockabilly-horror dread-inductions are put back on full blast. Chups' cinematic approach to surf rock is much exulted, blending instrumental prowess with a love for vintage, analog horror and pop culture. Like The Misfits, except surf rock: spookier, eerier sound effects undertone exotica and spaghetti western jigs, as on the creatively juxtaposed 'Astro Zombies', a punky song warning its listeners of fearsome, chameleonic creatures known as astro-zombies, who walk among us, portending societal breakdown.
