Lum

Lum is the title of the first album by Hersi Matmuja and Jacopo Conoci; Hersi is an Albanian singer who has lived in Italy for many years and who has been a leading member of the Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio. It is an album of reworked traditional songs from northern Albania, which until now have not been recorded, and songs from the Arbëreshë culture. There is also a traditional song from Salento, the region where Jacopo Conoci, the duo's cellist, comes from.
