Babai Lugu & Alala Katsa Katsa is a band with a solar spirit, radiating electric and polyphonic afro-groove with Malagasy roots. Through this album, they invite us on a journey between shadow and light, where the search for meaning, inner liberation, wonder, and hope intersect. Each track opens up a new musical horizon, like its title Altern'antsiva : a call toward new horizons. The antsiva refers to the Madagascar conch, used to transmit messages and bring people together. Like this instrument, Babai Lugu sends a subtly engaged signal, inviting a poetic relationship with the world. The Franco-Malagasy sextet offers vibrant music that touches both the soul and the body: an invitation to be carried away, to dance, and to feel.
