Hi, my name is Jeff 'The Fish' Lefroy, I'm an Irish Singer, guitarist and Blues harp player. Welcome to this album, I hope you like it. Whilst on one level this is a simple collection of fairly broad Rock and Blues and Soul tracks, to me it is much more personal than that and of course I have added my own unique twist to it. Throughout my life at various key points I have scribbled down a few lines on the back of bus tickets and cigarette packets etc to capture various moments, and here they are. I'm not claiming any deep poetic profundity. these are simple emotional postcards from moments that most of us pass through in life. Musically I didn't think about it too much, the music that these words are coupled with is simply what is in me, the music that automatically comes out when I sit down with a guitar. I'm quite sure if you are familiar with the history of Blues and Rock and Roll when you listen to it you will recognise hundreds of influences.. The influences I was subject to when I was growing up, when guitars and Blues based music was a global phenomenon. I am based in Southern France but this album was recorded in London.
