The Filth Hounds have been together since December 2011 and are based in the North East England. The band then consisted of Bryan McGill - Lead Vocals and Guitars, John Allom - Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals, Nigel Picknett - Guitars and Backing Vocals, and Damon Donnelly - Drums. Within a short space of time the band won a local Battle Of The Bands competition heat and the prize was to release a download single as a digital download. The single was called Too Damn Good/Hooked On Love, the single received air play all around the world and the Filth Hounds have gigged constantly around the UK. The single became the basis for their debut album Release The Hounds, a seven track NWOBHM style classic. The Filth Hounds have been show regulars right back to show two and I always like to play em when I get the chance. This album, Release The Hounds is worth buying just on the strength of the track The Trilogy alone, its an album full of classic sounding British Rock and its fair to say Im Hooked On The Filth Hounds!
