E.a.t.e.r was originally formed back in the summer of 1982 in the NEW WAVE OF SWEDISH HARDCORE (NWOSHC) explosion along with bands like Avskum (same era) Anti-cimex, Shitlickers, Asta Kask, Etc.going into Studio 1983 (Kloakens Alternative Anti Studio, by Micke Blomqvist front man of ASTA-KASK) to record their now highly after sought "Killed by death" collectable EP "Doomsday Troops" Ep! The band played fast furious hardcore with a very unique approach and loud shouted vocals, occationally you can have similiraity to the soloing of Anticimex - Raped ass (era) and wickedly fast bass playing like (Moderat Likvidation) made their EP to one of 10 most important singles of all time out of Sweden. The band existed til 1989 in various constellation, they did one extensive Europe tour back in 1986, they also recorded two 7" singles which never was released "Abort the system" and "Dieu et Ltat" which sees the daylight for the first time on this official re-mastered release. The bands material has over the past years appeared on countless bootlegs/killed by death comps, etc..mandatory for fans of Swedish ultra fast -core!!!
