Basandere, is a mythological figure from the Basque Country, a wild and hairy woman who lives in caves and caverns, places which, in Basque symbolism, link the inner world to the outer world.<br />Lolita Delmonteil's first album fits within this metaphor . It walks a path from the "I" to the "we", it goes from the inside to the outside, from the intimate to the political.
