The debut album from Augsburg-based black metal band AURO marks the beginning of a musical vision that deliberately sets itself apart from the members' previous projects (including Schrat and Drudensang). Originally released in 2020, the album was also released as a vinyl edition in 2023 via Folter Records, underscoring the band's significance within the German underground. AURO a name that blends the words Aura and Ouroboros delivers atmospheric, cold black metal. The music is characterized by raw aggression, coupled with orchestral undertones and a deep, misanthropic atmosphere. The production is intentionally chosen to adequately convey the chilling coldness of the riffs.
