Sludge DOOM merchants AULNES (featuring members from SIGHTS OF WAR and MEMORIES OF AN OLD MAN, both signed to PRC MUSIC) this band is showcasing top notch heaviness interlaced with beautiful melodic and "uber" heavy moments a la SUMAC... minimalist to a point where the overall mood takes over how competent these musicians are... influences are varied but those mix well into what AULNES is trying to achieved... turning despair into music. Works awesome for them. Try this if you're into SUMAC, NEUROSIS and MORN and you will never regret discovering this awesome band from Sherbrooke, Qubec.
