Inspired by the forest, new voices, harmonies and sounds dissolve the boundaries between the classical, the erudite and the popular to compose a spellbinding sample of musical creation, materialized here in celebration of the peoples, beings, legends and values of Amazonia and Brazil. The repertoire includes works by Heitor Villa-Lobos, Tom Jobim, Dori Caymmi, Claudio Santoro, Waldemar Henrique, Joao Donato, Guinga, Mario Adnet, Claudio Nucci and Nelson Angelo, with original orchestrations by Adnet. This work celebrates a sanctuary of culture and nature. It provides another record, a pièce de rsistance in the fight for life, for the rivers and for the forest. And in the forest, for its voices and sonorities, songs and enchantments. Music is the path revealed along this journey. Produced in many unique breaths, together they evoke this simultaneously real and imaginary region of the planet, here once more recreated with tonalities and timbres inspired by Amazonia.
