Patience Camp

The wistful melodies and the production style of "Patience Camp" contribute to the slightly rugged surface of a unique sound that dodges irrelevance despite all of its catchy melodies. Poppy early 90ies guitar-driven choruses set counterpoints to rolling riffs and restrained rhythm parts, a dichotomy reflecting the tension between the band members, stemming from their different personalities. There is no denying that favourite bands like The Soundtracks Of Our Lives or Motorpsycho - in their poppier phase, at least - have left their marks, but they are never copied out of fanboy-ish devotion. Tusq have set up camp and claimed their stake in the wide world of rock music where-in they wander effortlessly and confidently.
