The Icelanders Svavar Knutur, winner of the Troubadour competition 2012 in Berlin, takes us with his third album(Way of Waves) back into his own world of joyful sadness. He makes it to his special way with sadness to feel a sense of happiness. With songs like ,While the World Burns" or ,Humble Hymn" he conjures the listener / interior sustained goose bumps. The instrumentation of the 10 songs is not as usual sparse this time. Svavar relies on a musical saw as with the song ,While The World Burns", cello, piano and more. Linguistically, the album is well balanced. It is presented in 5x in english and 5x in icelandic After listening to ,find yourself ,again" in harmony with yourself and the world
