Why Not?
"Why Not?" is the fifth anthematic album by these Soul afficionados from Hamburg. While some of the band members are well known for their impressive collections of Northern Soul singles, they realized their artistic limitations early on. So while there was always a certain Soul influence (and even some covers of vintage Soul tracks) on their albums, they were always combining it a Sixties Beat sound and raw, Punk-sounding vocals and class-conscious lyrics. So thats what the listener gets once more on the groups new album "Why Not"" - hymnic sing-a-long tracks for fans of Dexys Midnight Runners, Family 5 etc.
