Imagine, if you can, two outerspace-rednecks gone beserk; two freaks who proudly channel the spirit of "Deliverance" and "2000 Maniacs", but with a fuel injection of humor and cheap space-comics etiquette in place of ultra-violence... But make no mistake, if they have opted for the duo formula, that is by no way a sheeplike followership nor surfing in the wake of the minimal gang or other one man band trend en vogue during the past years among garage or trashy blues alumni, hungry for easy sensations. If -undoubtedly- one could notice some Hazil Hadkins traces in their attitude, as well as in the tortuous meanderings of their disturbed minds, they go much further ahead of the simple musical caricature song, and are perfectly able to distill hits with vintage choruses and melodies. Our two lads are setting the house on fire with their second album (the first self-produced title released two years ago was adopted by the whole Closer staff! ), whose nutty cover is again designed by "Kab", a pure hit crazy gonzo too, reminiscent of either Dubout, Margerin or Gilbert Shelton!
