Annicke Shireen, band leader and lead singer, is a band member of HEILUNG. Witchrock is a new musical genre that combines folk, rock and pop elements and combines them with electronic Tones mixed together, an energetic sound, perfect to carry Annike Shireen's captivating voice. With over 50,000 subscribers on YouTube and videos reaching up to 5 million views in just one released album, SHIREEN has secured her place in the alternative music scene. The band has already toured a lot at festivals in Germany and the Netherlands: on a club tour (2017). The release of the album "Matriarch" was followed by festivals such as the Wave-Gothic-Treffen (DE) and the Gothic & Fantasy Beurs (NL), and in subsequent years the Bevrijdingsfestival Zuid-Holland (NL), the Castlefest (NL) or the Medieval Fantasy Spectaculum (DE).
