An Introduction To...
An Introduction to Sendelica' is a massive 4 CD set (it had to be, didn't it?) with over five hours of music, including many of the band's original recordings for FdM both covers and original songs - plus live recordings, new mixes, previously unreleased tracks and even a couple of songs from the band's first-ever release! Dive in and find out what Sendelica are all about A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE BAND Sendelica are Wales' best kept secret, a psychedelic rock band from West Wales composed of core members Pete Bingham (guitar), Glenda Pescado (bass) and Jack Jackson (drums), Lee Relfe (sax) and the inimitable Colin Consterdine (beats, keys and production). They have regularly collaborated with many musicians including Damo Suzuki, Nik Turner, Twink and The Orb. Sendelica wear their influences on their sleeves and their music has been described as blending the hypnotic pulse of Can, the impressionistic atmospherics of Pink Floyd, the motorized beat of Neu, the space patrolling guitar pyrotechnics of Jimi Hendrix and the otherworldly ambiences of The Orb (although not necessarily all at the same time). They are also renowned for bringing it all kicking and screaming into the 21st century - this is no nostalgia band; they have spent 20 years building a stunningly-prolific cottage industry in far-flung West Wales, releasing 24 studio albums, numerous live sets, plus many one-off singles and solo spin-offs.
