Vintage & Unique celebrates 10 years of creativity from the five original band members now launching their second decade with a polished gem showcasing the bands trademark blend of old-time influences with a bluegrass twist. Their previous (4th) album, Stellar Jays, received the Jaybirds second Juno nomination for best roots and traditional group. Led by renowned mandolin master and composer John Reischman, the Jaybirds explore a musical universe that glows throughout with bright, intelligent songs and instrumentals. The multi-genre repertoire highlights the best of traditional and contemporary acoustic music, with all five band members again contributing new material - eight of the albums 14 numbers are certifiably fresh originals.
