Fearless

The Qanat Trio (Federico Termini on piano, Damiano Vitrano on double bass, Ruggero Caruso on drums) was born with the goal of creating a distinctive sound, drawing inspiration from contemporary jazz, classical music, and Mediterranean atmospheres. Broad improvisational spaces alternate with more elaborate and refined compositional elements. Fluctuating and evocative soundscapes give space and value to the melodies that intersect with broken and syncopated rhythms. The album opens with "Fearless," a play on contrasts.
