The duo invents a desert rock that calls for dancing, is well versed in techno, and loves the broad, hypnotic melodies that sound familiar to our ears. OASIS BOOM's sound is very loosely inspired by Maloya and Mandinka music. The synthesiser is struck with drumsticks and metro tickets get stuck in the guitar strings as if there were sand everywhere. The powerful riffs seem to come from far away, others make you smile and remind you of video game music, melodies unfold, rocking and enveloping you, sometimes with jokes and electronic music lurking in the background.
