This album is inspired by an Aztec mythological tale. It was born from Jean-Pierre Jullian's interest in the Mesoamerican world and his encounter with the Nahuatl text _ and its French translation _ of the myth of the creation of the sun and the moon in Aztec tradition. The musical pieces that make up the work combine composition and improvisation.
