Available for the first time on vinyl (remastered): the second studio album by the US singer and pianist in black and white splatter vinyl on Gunner. The American singer, composer and pianist Shayfer James bewitches with uniquely dark, melodic and theatrical music. His own influences such as Sam Cooke, Stephen Sondheim, Elton John, Nat King Cole or The Native Tongues create piano-based songs between pop, cabaret, swing, classical, soul and rock, soaked in dark, lyrical and evocative stories. His second album was recorded live in the studio in 2010 with his backing band and numerous musical guests (strings, banjo, organ). Counterfeit Arcade is a wonderful collection of grandiosely arranged tracks, from danceable to balladesque, crowned by James' signature voice, which seems to be made of gravel, silk and poison at the same time.
