Norwegian Hytta Trio makes their album debut with the release Vindespel (Twining Tunes), where the hardanger fiddle music's inner tonal tales meet the light of day. With Hytta's Hardanger fiddle, Skaansar's bass, and Ibsen Thorsrud's rich instrumentation of tin foil, glockenspiel, and bass drum, the trio creates music with ample room for spontaneous ideas in their own creative expression. Vindespel is like a meandering river flowing between danceable circular tunes and slow, contemplative melodies.
