HOMELAND(S), a trio with unique instrumentation led by pianist and composer Matthieu Marthouret, presents its new album LORI, whose music is an open territory devoid of any artistic dictate, a veritable sonic crucible where collide, intertwine and merge the various influences and cultures of the three musicians (jazz, Hindustani music, world music). LORI, Matthieu Marthouret's sixth album, constitutes with INVOLUTIONS (2022), a diptych highlighting the three facets of this artist: composer, pianist within the HOMELAND(S) trio and organist within the SPRINGBOK quartet. This trio initiated by Matthieu Marthouret brings together the Indian Tabla player Mosin Kawa and the guitarist Loïc Rchard: three personalities, three backgrounds, three views on the world, serving a mixed musical adventure.
