Hartwin is a diatonic accordionist and composer whose instrumental music has touched audiences around the world for many years. On This Is the Place, he collaborates with two exceptionally talented and imaginative musicians who seamlessly blend elements from various musical styles. Together with Flavia Escartin on cello and Pavel Souvandjiev on violin, the trio creates a kind of musical tightrope act-balancing classical, folk, and world music in a performance where they constantly challenge and enrich one another.
