«Coruscant» is the fourth album of the band from Lille. Since early 80's Guerre Froide provides a minimal & hypnotic post-punk or «french coldwave » as we said in France. Well-known since their 1981's EP « Demain-Berlin » and its eponymous song, an underground classic track (reissued on Born Bad Records in 2015), band was back in studio in 2006 after a long break. Three great lp's were released : « Angoisses Et Divertissement » (2007), « Abrutir Les Masses » (2010) and « Avant-Dernière Pensée » (2014), before the brand new one « Coruscant ». It captures the classic minimal & gloomy sound of the band without being retro at all. Quite post-modern and slightly baroque art-picture from french artists Butz & Fouque give a sharp and bewitching look to the modern world.
