THE GALAXIES were a cool obscure Brazilian combo (including an American-English married couple) who released their only album in 1968. Despite the year, the guys and gal delivered a fine example of fuzz garage beat meets pop and early folk-psych sounds. In fact the band covers different styles from THE YARDBIRDS to DONOVAN to LOVE. Their primal and sometimes out of tune rendition of the clasic LOVE-compositions 'Orange Skies' (with female vocals) and 'Que Vida' are ultimate 'garage' classics on their own. This 10" captures the best tracks of their original LP. Limited to 500 copies.
