All new, 5th regular studio album from the most popular Danish post-punk trio! The album follows three digital singles ('Resound', 'Southern Skies' and 'Endurance') Formed in 2009 in Copenhagen, Denmark, the Foreign Resort has spent 10 years creating and honing an explosive yet melancholy post-punk sound that is as rich as it is exciting, and as immediate as it is dark and deep. Their previous album 'Outnumbered' (Artoffact 2019) was a big success with our customers, and so was the following remix-album 'OutRemixed' (Artoffact 2021), that featured remixes by good names of the Post-Punk scene, such as Traitrs, Then Comes Silence, Creux Lies, Hapax, Bootblacks...) The band combines the shadowy mysticism of The Cure's "Po*nography"-era with a driving production aesthetic akin to LCD Soundsystem. Intricate reverb-enveloped guitar lines glide over Steffan Petersen's bass and Morten Hansen's powerful drumming, all while Mikkel Borbjerg Jakobsen's taut and sincere vocal delivery demands attention. The Foreign Resort have toured relentlessly, addicted to the allure of America's lost highways, sharing bills with bands like The Soft Moon, She Past Away, Ash Code, Slowdive and many more. They played live at important festivals, such aas Wave Gotik Treffen, SXSW, Iceland Airwaves, NCN and countless others.
