After 3 long years of waiting, the time has come. The 4th studio album of the seven-piece band will be released in December 2022 with 11 new songs, in the now classic three-quarter blood style. The text and sound compositions cover the entire spectrum of human emotions. The pieces are also shaped by the two Corona years and address the new experiences of this time: "Hehna without a head", "Ast vom Baam", "Song of the Unknown Soldier", "Sometime" - they reflect the madness of the time that Seek understanding, but also a refusal to despair. Because where you would otherwise prefer to look the other way, "Dreiviertelblut" takes a close look with its unsparing lyrics and atmospheric music. "Folklore-free folk music" is how film composer Gerd Baumann and Bananafishbones singer Sebastian Horn describe their work. Since their first meeting, the two have brought timelessly beautiful songs to the world. The lyrics roam through the highs and lows of being, squirming from the purest happiness to the blackest despair. The love of darkness is reinforced by a penchant for crude Bavarian humor. Anyone who knows three-quarter blood knows that a laughing eye is always followed by a crying eye and vice versa.
