DEAR DEER celebrates the 10th anniversary of its very first, highly noise-oriented album "Oh My" with a limited anniversary edition. In addition to the original album, this release brings together remixes (Zaatar, Embers), live versions, demos and previously unreleased tracks, revealing and revisiting the raw material of a period when the duo was still shaping its identity between post-punk tension, noise outbursts and DIY energy. To celebrate this decade, Dear Deer also returns to the stage with a special concert dedicated to the songs from 2016. An opportunity to rediscover these tracks in their most abrasive form, from a time when the band was developing a more direct, noisier and more saturated sound. Formed in Lille in 2015 by Claudine and Federico, Dear Deer has since built a singular universe where post-punk, electronic music, disco/dance influences and sonic experimentation intersect. This anniversary edition of "Oh My" acts as a return to the band's roots, drawing on the early releases of Wire while brushing against the metallic peaks of E.Neubauten, the deconstructed guitars of Sonic Youth, and taking inspiration from the sensuality of Minimal Compact. This is a celebration of the foundations of a band that has never stopped transforming the friction between machines, guitars and bodies into an intense live experience.
