Twelve years after the superb *Eerst de nacht, dan de dag* and 36 years after their formation in 1990, the Dutch-language art-rock band De Legende centered around singer/author Elvis Peeters presents their new album, *Ieder zijn geluk*. With this record, the band demonstrates that their drive and edge remain fully intact. Tracks such as 'Rebelse ratten', 'Alles anders', 'Burn-out', 'Motorzaag', and 'Jakhals' set the tone. The band drew unashamed inspiration from the glorious 1980s and heroes of that era like The Clash, The Ramones, and Suicide as well as, above all, from their own earlier incarnations prior to becoming De Legende.
