Formed in 1986 by ex-members of Chocolate Factory and Absent Minded, the group became legendary for their fearless stylistic shifts and raw, unpredictable live shows across Germany, France, Sweden, the Netherlands and Austria. Their sound was a restless collision of garage beat, psychedelia and mod cool, spiked with flashes of the weird and wonderful imagine The Velvet Underground jamming with Link Wray, The Beatles, and The Seeds, then detouring through Captain Beefheart and even Depeche Mode. Between 1986 and 1996, DAISY CHAIN released only one and a half LPs, two singles, and appeared on a handful of cult compilations but their reputation has endured in Europe's garage revival scene.
