Cara is a group with two lead singers: Gudrun Walther (Germany) and Kim Edgar (Scotland). This Celtic folk band has been around for 15 years and has won awards including the Irish Music Awards for Best New Irish Artist (2010) and Top Group (2011). BBC Scotland described Cara as `a whole festival wrapped up in one band'. The CD was recorded live during a tour in 2017 and the music is firmly rooted in Irish and Scottish traditions.
