The Jazz Message Of (clear)
Recorded in early 1956 by Rudy Van Gelder and released on Savoy in the same year "The Jazz Message" is the fruit of one of those great studio sessions based on the grouping of some high class Jazz musicians. Here we have, among others, Hank Mobley on tenor sax, Donald Byrd on trumpet, Horace Silver on piano and Kenny Clarke on drums. This is highly swinging hard bop performed by a bunch of stellar musicians at the peak of their game. A must for all straight Jazz fans out there.
