After releasing a pair of albums in 2001, Lunchbox went on an extended hiatus. In 2009, Tim & Donna (the core of the band) appeared on a 7" under the new moniker, Birds Of California. A few years later, we finally managed to get a full album out of 'em, featuring a dozen songs with that same sunny Rocketship-styled pop that endeared them to us in the first place, but with a bit of a rockier edge.
