Genre: Post-Punk The Beautiful Dead from Kaiserslautern has already existed in an early phase between 2011 and 2015, to reform in the spring of 2025 with experienced members from various local bands. This second incarnation marks a new chapter and a new beginning for this gifted German act - musically matured, stylistically sharpened, with a clear artistic vision. A distinctive sound that combines influences from post-punk, new wave, and art rock and that creates a unique and unmistakable atmosphere. The past year was intesively used to compose and record new material, assembled on this album, that stands out as a melancholic, reflective, at time sarcastic soundtrack to an era of upheaval and decline!
