Venetian band the Beards describe themselves as an "original spaghetti southern rock band with a dirty and heavy sound". Mephisto Potato Sauce, their debut album, and Digging Fingers their tribute to Johnny Cash was released 2009. This project , "Muskito" co-authored with Julien Poulsen of The Cambodian Space Project is half rock opera half concept album based around the life and times of Tasmanias last living male Aboriginal.
